A Starter Pack for Healthy Skin this Fall

A Starter Pack for Healthy Skin this Fall

When the weather finally starts to cool off, humidity drops, and trees begin to show off their autumnal foliage, you might just want to spend all day outside! Indeed, your weekends could soon be fully booked with a bounty of fall-themed activities, such as apple picking, hay rides, corn mazes, and hiking.

Spending time in the great outdoors is wonderful for your skin - it stimulates vitamin D production, can help reduce stress, and can improve circulation. However, you will still need to take some precautions and apply certain skincare products to make all that activity sustainable and comfortable. Here is our list of five skincare products to pack in your bag this fall to support healthy skin. Make sure to bring enough for yourself and to share with your family and/or friends!

1. Lip balm: One of the first skincare symptoms to arise from drier weather is, of course, chapped lips. Try to prevent cracked lips by applying lip balm early and often. But no matter whether you are just beginning to notice additional dryness in your lips or are already on emergency response, Herbacin Lip Balms deserve a place in your backpack. These lip balms come in three varieties - camomile, mint, and citrus - and are free of both preservatives and chemical antioxidants.

2. Eye cream: When the seasons change, the delicate skin around your eyes, like your lips, can be among the first areas to react. That’s why we recommend Herbacin Eye Cream, which features a bio-active double complex of hyaluronic acid and carnosine.

3. Sunscreen: Summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean UV rays are any less harmful for your skin. Look for SPF 30 or above, and keep applying it throughout all four seasons!

4. Body milk or butter: Lotions are better suited for summer, but you’ll want to opt for thicker moisturizing products during the fall and winter. Body milks and body butters offer long-lasting hydration and deep nourishment. We recommend Herbacin Wellness Body Milk, which comes in Wild Rose and Lavender varieties. This body milk contains lipids from avocado oil and cupuaçu butter that boost skin regeneration and supply skin with intensive moisture.

5. Hand sanitizer and wipes: If you’re going to be enjoying rides at the annual carnival, chomping into caramel apples, or eating picnic lunches on top of mountains, you’ll want to make sure your hands are properly sanitized. So don’t forget to pack a small portable bottle that you can strap onto your bag or stash in a side pocket. While helpful, keep in mind that sanitizers can be drying, so always have your favorite Herbacin hand cream with you.

Enjoy your fall and make sure to take care of your skin during this beautiful transition of seasons!
